"kids church" & other

Kids have an interaction with others doing activities such as making crafts, baking, and fun and games, coupled with learning to nurture and care for our community.  This is where our children hear their first Word of God.  Learning to applying the teachings of Christ to their own lives, they will carry the work of the Church into the world and themselves, as they grow.

adult

We believe Christians are life long learners and we encourage adults to learn and grow in their faith.  Several programs are offered through St. Andrew's to facilitate this growth.

By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.    Proverbs 24:3

outreach & justice

The United Church of Canada has a rich tradition of commitment to caring for others and seeking fairness and justice for all people.  Most recently, St. Andrew's has supported initiatives such as Beads of Hope Campaign (HIV Africa), Sisters in Spirit (Violence against Aboriginal Women), Food Grains Bank, and numerous petitions against the missile defence system.  The Global Justice and Social Action group at St. Andrew's looks for ways to respond to Global Issues though education and action.

What does the Lord require of you but to do justice, love kindness and walk quietly with your God.    Micah 6:8
